Why is Adidas_1 intelligent?
A sensor is placed directly below the runner's heel and the magnet is located at the bottom of the shoes.On each runner step, this sensor measures the distance between sensor (top) and magnet (bottom). The data signals are sent to the micro-processor which is located underneath the arch of midsole. This reprogrammed micro-processor, calculates five million operations per second. The processed data is sent to a powerful motor with 153% more torque which makes a mechanical change to a motor-driven cable system. The motor-driven cable is placed into the carbon frame. When the cable is twisted, the cushioning level becomes firmer. When the cable is loosened, it makes the cushioning level softer.
